Golf della Montecchia

The course (27 holes, par 72, 6318 meters) is flat, but very technical and it requires a good concentration and a particular attention to the water obstacles that make the play more difficult. Its innovative drainage system makes it possible to play even with bad weather conditions.
So the passionate golfers can play all year around. The 9-hole green course is Pet Friendly.

Born in 1988 on the initiative of a group of willing entrepreneurs from Padua, it boasts a 27-hole Championship Course designed by the English architect Tom Macaulay and known for having hosted numerous editions of the Challenge and the Alps Tour.
In a suggestive position, close to the Euganean Hills Park and the Terme di Abano and Montegrotto, it stands in an area once owned by the Counts Emo Capodilista, which includes an ancient castle, a splendid Renaissance villa and a farm renowned for its production of fine wines.

It can count on the experience of no less than eight professionals, on the most modern structures, equipment and software to help each player reach the maximum level of his golfing potential, through a 360° approach, which places various professional figures at the disposal of the golfer for a integrated analysis of all aspects of performance: technique, physical condition, club fitting and mental and nutritional aspects.

Respect and love for the environment are topics physiologically inherent in the game of golf: it takes place in the open air, an 18-hole game or complete "round" means walking for about 4 hours in the middle of the green, covering over 6 km. The Montecchia Golf Club has been actively engaged on this front for years and was among the first in Italy to have set itself this goal, both for strong conviction and to consolidate its role as a "buffer area" between the neighboring Euganean Hills Regional Park and the neighboring anthropized context.
